Holonograph is Brian's flagship invention: a patent-pending observability instrument for agentic AI, and a product of Precision Innovations LLC. It is a signed, self-hosted binary that sits at the boundary between an agent and the language models it calls, capturing the complete record of every exchange without embedding a single line in the system it observes. Its purpose is attribution. When a non-deterministic system's output drifts, Holonograph decomposes the change into four mutually exclusive sources: substrate drift (what the operator changed), light-source drift (what the vendor changed, including silent model reroutes), lens drift, and stochastic noise. Its core insight is the Lens Architecture. The evaluation apparatus itself, meaning the fixtures, baselines, and LLM-as-judge, is a non-deterministic instrument that drifts too, so Holonograph versions the lens and holds it immutable within each version. That turns apparatus drift from an invisible confounder into a measured, attributable quantity. Because it observes by position rather than instrumentation, it runs where server-based tools cannot reach: on local hardware, inside regulated environments, behind an air gap.
