The EXPAREL Surgeon Selector automates the process of surgeons being displayed on EXPAREL.com as a provider of the non-opioid treatment. The system allow for web-based and rep-controlled registrations via CLM platform. All requests are automatically validated for NPI number, physical address, and sales data for the physician at that location and pushed live, informing all stakeholders of the progress
User Interface
Once registered, the HCP is validated within a few hours using Open Veeva systems for NPI validation. The second wave of validation requires sales and prescription data mapping to addresses and occurs in the background while the surgeon is live on the site. Failed validations, once determined, will remove the record and inform both rep and surgeon.
Map Components
An easy to use interface validates not only the surgeon’s eligibility, but also their physical location is validated with Google Maps API to ensure directions can be plotted for patients.

A complex system has been developed to ensure full automation and all edge cases are handled across 4 teams in 2 companies and 3 countries.
